SUPPORT TUCKER
As you may know, my niece Nicole Tucker is running for County Legislature in the upcoming November 3 election. I, together with the entire Tucker family, write this letter to ask your support for Nicole.
Ms. Tucker is a bright, hardworking and caring individual who will be a solid choice to represent all constituents fairly and diligently. As a fresh-starting newcomer, she will owe no one but the public that put her in office. She will bring fresh, new ideas to the table and will speak her own mind.
The entire Tucker family asks that you give the same support to Nicole Tucker this November 3 that you have always given other members of the Tucker family who have successfully run for public office. You haven't been disappointed in the past and you won't be this time, either. Your support for Nicole Tucker will not be wasted. I can assure you, we will all be proud of the work she will do as our representative.

A REPUBLICAN FOR TUCKER
In my junior year of high school I joined History Club and as the vice president I helped Ms. Tucker organize the trip to Washington, D.C. to be part of president Obama's Inauguration. Ms. Tucker was never my teacher but she has become not only one of my mentors but one of my heroes as well. I should also mention that I am currently a student at Ulster County Community College and a devoted Republican. Ms. Tucker and I don't always agree on all the issues but she has always been supportive of my beliefs and encouraged me to never let them perish. We had planned on going to D.C. for the inauguration regardless of who won because what she really cared about was getting us involved. She hoped that her efforts would inspire us to do more, to care more. Her excitement and enthusiasm for our country's history and government has inspired me and many others who were on that trip, to want to learn more about the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement and the many difficult issues facing our country today. While in D.C., we not only witnessed history but we also were able to meet with our congressman, Maurice Hinchey, and a legislative assistant from senator Schumer's office. I may not have agreed with their ideas on the stimulus package but because of this trip, I was able to express my own thoughts and ideas directly to my representatives.
I am a Republican and I will be voting for Ms. Tucker on November 3 and encourage you to do the same because I know that she will work exceptionally hard on behalf of everyone in our community. She has our best interests at heart as well as the knowledge, the energy and drive that has been missing in government.
